Misty Point Oysters Flavor Profile

Misty Point oysters are the flagship oyster of the Ballard Fish & Oyster Co. They are raised in the barrier islands at the southern tip of Virginia’s Eastern Shore. They are a rack and bag cultivated oyster which are also put through tumbling to help shape them, harden their shells, and give them deeper cups.
Misty Point oysters have pleasantly firm meats, a robust salinity with an earthy flavor that finishes with hints of celery and lettuce.
