Mecox Bay Oyster Flavor Profile Characteristics
Mecox Bay Oysters are from one of the Long Island oyster appellations in the New York & Connecticut oyster region. They are a wild oyster which are Bottom Cultured in Mecox Bay at a depth of about thirty feet. Mecox Bay is small, deep bay on the east side of Long Island which is fed by a fast flowing tributary. Mecox Bay Oysters have a very tough shell which makes them easy to shuck.
